Cancellations of Cloud Products
You can automatically and immediately cancel your contract for your Cloud Servers, Snapshots, Backups, Volumes, Networks, and Floating IPs from your account, you can also contact us if you need help in cancellations.
Once you confirm the cancellation and finish the quick cancellation process, your server will be deleted and your contract for that product will be cancelled. However, your user account will remain active. Since we invoice Cloud Servers on an hourly basis, you will receive an invoice AFTER you have successfully cancelled your server. We will only invoice you for the part of the the billing period when your server still existed.
Dedicated bare-metal servers, VPS & IP addresses
If you have multiple products, these products may have different billing periods, and therefore different last dates in their billing periods. In addition, with some products, the last date of the billing period may be different from the date when you receive the last invoice. We understand that this may be a bit confusing. That is why we create a monthly invoice for all products for each customer.
Licenses
The earliest possible cancellation date for license contracts is at the end of the billing month. Example 1: It is 23 July. You have paid for your license up until 2 August. The earliest possible cancellation date is 31 August. [We will still invoice you for the month of August.] Example 2: It is 23 July. You have paid for your license up until 30 July. The earliest possible cancellation date is 31 July.
DNS entries
You can delete all DNS entries via the DNS Console at any time, and you can delete them effective immediately.
